Please note that this version of Framelapse will no longer be updated. However, the last release will still be available for download. Allow me to explain why:

Due to the security features introduced in Android 8+, accessing the camera in sleep mode is no longer possible. As a result, the sleep mode feature has become redundant in the latest Android versions. Nevertheless, for those who have found the sleep mode to be effective on older devices, it will remain available.

In order to ensure that users who have paid for this app have access to the latest features, we have developed the "Framelapse: Timelapse Camera" app. This new version includes all of the features found in the previous version, as well as additional enhancements. The only exception is the sleep mode feature, which had to be removed due to OS restrictions. However, we have provided an alternative solution in the new app.

The latest version of Framelapse introduces a new smart screen overlay mode, which closely mimics turning off your screen on most modern OLED displays. Simply start recording and press the bottom right button that appears.

For Pro users, we encourage you to try out both versions and decide which one best suits your needs. However, we recommend using the latest version on newer devices, as it is regularly updated and ensures that you won't miss out on any professional features.
